Responsible for the design, installation, and management of client environments around the country, and within our cloud application environment. Involved in the design, installation, configuration, upgrading, troubleshooting, and performance management of applications and databases within client environments of all sizes, operating system platforms, and technical complexity.Position Responsibilities:• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot multi-site Linux/UNIX and Windows based Netsmart application environments for both self hosted and cloud clients• Support enterprise database systems; MS-SQL, Intersystems’ Caché, and Oracle included• Complete Windows or Linux administration tasks, including patching, configuration of server roles and features, and installation of software packages• Support network and storage environments including SAN, clustering, load balancing, multi-site VPNs, network IDS, firewalls, and application delivery/virtualization products such as Citrix• Complete various documentation assignments, as assigned by departmental management or team leaders, including: white papers, work instructions, wiki articles, client documentation, site sheets, knowledgebase articles, purchased product documentation, client communication, and other document types• Provide exceptional customer service to Netsmart customers including rapidly responding to customer inquiries, addressing customer complaints, escalating customer issues to departmental leadership, and providing follow-up communications per departmental guidelines• Work within the HIPAA and ISO 27000 series security and privacy governess models in implementing and securing client environments

Sole onsite IT support servicing a facility of 196 employees and 250+ network attached devices. Responsible for day to day operations at the site with phone systems, servers, printers, and employee workstations. Other responsibilities included being the site contact for all vendors and the middleman with other businesses doing business with the facility to work with their IT to solve issues. Implemented a software/hardware DNC solution for CNC/Mills to connect to a secure database of approved revisions for production parts and an MDC solution to monitor the CNC/Mills for daily operations. Was responsible for infrastructure upgrade projects including an MPLS circuit, adding additional IDF's, upgrading aging servers and working with legacy software to ensure compatibility with new OS's, along with implementing a wireless scanning procedure to streamline inventory and shipping.

Final tier desktop support. Communication heavy position with coordination to all technology departments and end users. Worked with clinicians and physicians for support of initial roll-out of EPIC EMR software including documenting new issues associated with the go live of new software not used in the environment previously. Worked in 8 separate hospitals to control ticket queues and initially set up SOIN medical center with all networked devices with one other technician prior to grand opening.
