My name is Eric Daniel Milburn and I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. In Spring of 2016, I obtained a BA in Spanish Language & Literature with a minor in Communication. Currently, I work as a Project Manager.Formerly, I worked as a carpenter where I specialized in framing, sheathing, and constructing modern-style homes that are both strong and affordable.My previous role was in the nonprofit sector working for Uncharted. There, I specialized in event logistics, entrepreneur selection, content curation, and team building. Prior to Uncharted, I held the position as Programs Specialist for the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. In that position I supported four separate programs including: Colorado Leadership Alliance, Access Denver, Colorado Experience, and Leadership Denver. Each program caters to a unique group of leaders from collegiate leaders to mid-level to senior executives. My responsibilities were mainly coordinating small-scale events. My first job out of college is where I worked for two and half years as the Special Projects Coordinator for TEDxMileHigh. There, my main responsibilities were coordinating, organizing, and promoting events focused on community and individuals through the platform of TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design). In an effort to amplify the TED voice of 'spreading ideas,' I focused mostly on our Adventures program that hosts frequent events called 'Adventures' inviting people to connect in a more interactive, hands-on way. Additionally, I assisted in launching a new program called TEDxConversations that brings people together to engage in meaningful discussions and thoughtful dialogue.I led the TEDxMileHigh Internship Program for incoming young professionals looking to develop their career. I also assist in finding, curating, and guiding partnerships for our events. My other skills range from carpentry, framing, sheathing, hemp-crete installation, video editing, brand networking, and administrative assistance. I enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, and timeless conversations.
