 Responsible for the safety of all departments, 130 employees and 6 supervisors including production, shipping, receiving, security, maintenance and logistics. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations while increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility. Minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards while reducing overtime. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions. As a Asset Management and Electronics recycling company I am also responsible for production output, product quality and product destruction while making sure we are focused on shipping on time, while allocating resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. Maintain a productivity rate of 95% and maintain all inventory goals set by inbound material. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus on 5S and lean principles. Share a trusting relationship with workgroups and new hires, manage and develop plant staff. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste while developing systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and KPI targets to ensure effective return on assets. Stay up to date with latest production management, best practices and concepts.

Lead production line to produce 150 quality Class 6 – 9 (medium / heavy duty, sever service, over the road) trucks, and Military vehicles daily. Developed a plan to help meet customer expectations and maintaining all build and business goals to ensure daily build schedules are met. Maintained up time percentage of 98%. Utilized lean manufacturing tools in multiple projects, achieving 50% direct labor savings, increasing hourly throughput by 50%, enhancing proper equipment utilization, minimizing downtime and increasing TPS (Today’s Production Shipped). Reduced in plant material inventory by 38% and also reducing scrap by 17%.Maintained complete and accurate records for ISO 9000/14000, all process training, absenteeism, vacation, and disciplinary. Oversaw compliance to medical, safety health, and ISO requirements in which we have reached a milestone of 6 million hours without a lost time injury. Trained team of supervisors in assembly/ manufacturing operation, associate team building, communication skills, meeting business/production goals. Effective planning of performance evaluations and appraisals. Trained and evaluated approximately 500 staff on improvement of management skills. Increased communication between management and production lines, successfully integrated production equipment from several closed facilities. This includes equipment installation and employee training.
