Trading and researching environmental compliance markets including the Western Climate Initiative, Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, California Low Carbon Fuel Standard, and the federal Renewable Fuel Standard. I use regulatory analysis, supply and demand modeling, and decarbonization technology evaluation to build long term views that form the basis of trading strategies.Additionally, I apply supply and demand models and statistical analysis to develop trading strategies in other commodity markets, and consistently find opportunities to speculate on geopolitical, macroeconomic, and policy developments via futures and equity markets.
