20 years as a Naval Flight Officer (NFO), split roughly evenly between flying roles and desk roles. Qualified as a mission commander and instructor in both the E-2C Hawkeye and NATO E-3A AWACS.Highlights:-Planning manager at Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) / Fifth Fleet, a three-star Admiral staff located in Bahrain. Led cross-functional planning teams to develop holistic, theater-wide campaign plans in support of high-level CENTCOM and US Department of Defense objectives. Regularly briefed the Admirals.-Director of operations at the 3,200-person multi-site Navy installation located in Monterey, CA and home of the Naval Postgraduate School. As the Operations Section Chief and back-up Director of the Emergency Operations Center, dealt with the COVID pandemic and 2020 California wildfires.-Spent 6 consecutive years stationed in Europe with NATO commands. At NATO Combined Air Operations Center Torrejon (CAOC TJ) in Spain, I was an Air Command and Control (C2) planner. At the NATO E-3A Component in Germany, I was a mission commander and instructor in the NATO AWACS, the Officer in Charge of the US Navy unit, and operations manager of the aircraft mission simulator.-Assistant Strike Officer (ASTRIKE) on USS NIMITZ.-Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS, or RAG) instructor.
