• Programing, calibration, and testing of protection equipment (Electro-mechanical and Solid State)• Utilize Doble Protection Suite to build and run test plans for all different types of protection applications found in the field (Overcurrent, Distance, Differential, Alarm, Reclosing, Control, etc.)• Interpret and understand multiple types of prints, including logic, elementary, and wiring diagrams.• Working with Project Managers, engineers, other field technicians and customers to complete a job in a safe and timely manner• Creating and marking up prints using Auto CAD• Generate project management and commissioning documents as well as reports for jobs• Work safely on an active construction sites, live stations, and hazardous locations

• Maintenance and repair of all high voltage and substation equipment• Perform preventative maintenance and testing on circuit breakers, transformers, load tap changers, batteries, system protection relays, motors, and other various control devices• Conduct high voltage switching and Lockout/Tagout procedures to isolate equipment to be serviced• Working with a crew, and prioritizing to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner• Interpret and utilize multiple types of diagrams and blueprints• Work in various industrial areas and environments

Working with CAD and Excel to update any prints and files that may have changed after construction or if an addition/ extra work has been done on them.
