My journey into veterinary medicine started at a very young age, having grown up surrounded by pets and animals. I truly believe that my furry, and not so furry, companions have guided me to pursue my goal of becoming a veterinarian and continue to pave the path of my future pursuits. I learned early on to appreciate, not only an animal’s beauty and uniqueness, but their unquestionable ability to affect one’s personality, mood, responsibility, and compassion for others. From my days in high school as a Miami Metro Zoo volunteer, to my years as a small animal veterinarian in New York City, my path has never deviated from caring for the animals I love. It has, however, evolved to learn new ways to improve their health. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to train in conventional Western medicine at Tufts University and to practice alongside wonderful doctors who have influenced me and taught me the benefits of Eastern medicine and a holistic approach. Practicing with integrative and complimentary modalities affords me the ability to discuss a variety of treatment options with my clients, which I ultimately believe provides peace of mind for them, as well as a better outcome for the health and well-being of their pets. As I move forward in my career in veterinary medicine, I will continue to build strong relationships with my clients and their loved companions. I will pursue my passion for integrative and alternative medicine and expand on the ability to provide the best treatments that I can.
