Experience in process engineering, water resources engineering and civil site design on projects throughout Nevada. Responsibilities included project management, process design for water and waste water facilities, design of gravity and pumped pipelines, civil site design, preparation of cost estimates, compilation and composition of construction specifications.

Primary researcher responsible for a project involving total dissolved solids (TDS) removal from the Truckee Meadows Wastewater Treatment Facility (TMWRF) using membranes. The project was split into three phases. Phase 1 involved researching reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes to use for TDS removal. Phase 2 explored and evaluated pretreatment options including microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and enhancing existing dual media filters with a coagulant. Phase 3 looked at full scale implementation of a membrane process including energy demands, brine disposal options, and cost evaluation.
