CurrentMy professional history consists of short and long term contracts since August 1995. I have regularly exceeded the performance expectations of my clients while fulfilling duties such as building, deploying, administrating and troubleshooting Windows 2003, XP, and Red Hat Linux servers; Managing the network’s and system’s security posture utilizing Vulnerability Management Systems, patch management, and STIG implementation; Monitoring and reporting of network traffic, trends, and website performance data; and end user support.I currently support a large scale environment consisting of multiple networks for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Chief Information Office. As the Technical Lead of the Problem Management Team I troubleshoot and resolve complex issues affecting the OSD enterprise infrastructure; create, submit, and process System Changes via the SCR process to correct the root cause of systemic issues; advise the team on technical aspects of problem incidents (PBIs); and automate manual processes via scripting. In my former role as an AD Team I addressed any and all issue affecting Domain Controllers, Active Directory services, File & Print servers, Distributed File Systems, DHCP, DNS, and more for CIO and almost 30 other components. Additionally, I regularly provide coverage and expertise to the OSD Enterprise Network Monitoring Systems (ENMS) Team to monitor and resolve System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) alerts; and to resolve issues related to Blackberry Enterprise Server services and Data Armor/Mobile armor.
