Working directly with federal U.S.PIRG leadership, managed and executed PIRGIM's public relations and media relations activities. Responsibilities included writing and distributing press releases and advisories, conducting direct outreach to media, organizing press conferences, giving interviews, and generating dozens of media hits from print, radio and TV outlets. Conducted outreach towards coalition partners with common goals, developing and maintaining inter-organizational relationships. Represented PIRGIM at Michigan C3 Table meetings, Michigan DEQ Recycling Initiative, Washtenaw Health Initiative. Managed statewide campaigns related to recycling & waste management, healthcare, transportation policy, campaign finance reform and others.

Registered students to vote by canvassing the Bennington College campus. Organized shuttles to bring students to polling stations both for early voting and on Election Day. Worked closely with Rep. Campion to maximize student turnout and advocate for Democratic party candidates. Organized an Election Night watch party for students.

Door-to-door campaigning and fundraising, raising awareness and funding for NYPIRG's campaign against hydraulic fracturing in New York state. Worked out of the New York City office, working in Brooklyn, Queens and Westchester, NY.
