Sunday Solar
9 years Project Management and Office Administration experience. Helped grow a 3 person solar installation operation, starting in 2015, into over 20 employees, completing over 400 jobs, mostly in central Virginia. Sunday Solar is a turn-key, Class A solar Contractor, with AES and ELE designations. We specialized in residential, commercial and lots of custom agricultural solar, with a unique niche, for custom solar work. We installed lots of farms, with trenching and many ground mounted systems, with a variety of anchoring systems. Sunday is now known for its outstanding service, warranty coverage and post installation services. Sunday is also now known for their versatility. We installed over a half dozen solar inverter platforms, including Solar Edge, Fronius, SMA, Chint, Outback, Enphase and Tesla Systems. Also, we installed a variety of battery back up solar systems, using LG Chem, Solar Edge, Fortress and Enphase battery back up systems. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to a wide range of duties, as is the case, with any dedicated person, growing a small business. I performed technical site assessments, advertising and social media influence, system design, customer consultation, permitting, inspections, online monitoring, energy credit registrations, accounting, CRM creation and maintenance. Weekly reporting of project statuses to the team. Training new talent, office administration and general management. As a turn-key, residential and commercial (class A) solar contractor, we also operated as a long term government contractor, in the USDA REAP grant solar program, helping rural business take advantage of solar grants. Additionally, I also managed dozens of Age and Income Qualifying jobs, through our contracts with Dominion Energy, LEAP (Local Energy Alliance Program) and CHP (Community Housing Partners). AIQ programs, owned by the utility, such as Dominion Energy, are helping thousands of homeowners get solar systems, at no cost.
