Coordinate the operations and maintenance of the City of Tampa's 226 wastewater pumping stations. Provide training to develop new technicians. Work with our Engineering department to recommend projects and review plans. Work with contractors and vendors to ensure the City's needs are met when outside assistance is required.Started with the City as an industrial instrumentation technician where I worked with all aspects of instrumentation and control equipment.

First stationed aboard a forward deployed nuclear ballistic missile submarine I worked with a small group that was responsible for the maintenance of various communication, instrumentation, and control systems. Later assigned to the Navy's Deep Submergence Unit I performed maintenance where quality assurance was critical. My primary duties at the Unit were to maintain the battery systems for the Navy's two deep submergence rescue vehicles and two deep submergence research vessels.
