I am CEO and Managing Principal of Servo Wealth Management, a firm I started in 2012 after I moved back to Oklahoma City from San Francisco, California. I have a ton of pride in the firm and how it has evolved and grown in the last ~10 years, as well as tremendous gratitude for all of the clients who work with Servo and made the dream of running my own advisory firm a reality.The short summary of my firm: Servo is about helping individuals and families achieve their long-term, retirement, cash flow, and legacy goals. Servo provides financial and retirement planning and ongoing investment management. More practically, I think life is already complex enough, and we all have too much to do and too little time to do it. If I can save you time and help you do better as well, that can have a huge impact on your life and I’ve been able to create and provide real lasting value. That’s a win-win.I’m passionate about showing people a better way to invest that puts the odds of financial success in their favor, and helps reduce the stress and anxiety that so many people experience dealing with money and financial issues. You know that saying “if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life”? That’s me.Early in my career I worked as a stockbroker and I don’t feel like I was really doing well—or as well as I could—for people. Once I took it upon myself to figure out the best way to invest and help people with their financial situation, I knew that I had to share what I knew, to make up for my prior mistakes.The thing I enjoy most is when I meet someone who has been struggling to figure out their financial situation and achieve a good investment result, and I explain a way they can simplify and improve their situation and become more successful in the process. There is a metaphorical light bulb that goes off for them, and I get a ton of satisfaction in having made a difference. More people deserve this experience, which drives me to communicate and reach out to people to see if I can make a difference in their lives.
