I manage accreditation report-writing, assurance of learning, and institutional projects at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since joining IMD, the school has become Swiss accredited; been reaccredited by EFMD EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB; and earned the EFMD Business School Impact System label, becoming one of the approximately one dozen business schools globally to hold the triple-crown accreditations and the BSIS seal. I began as an Accreditation and Institutional Projects Officer and progressed to the Partner role in 2021.In addition to my IMD work, I occasionally freelance articles for higher education publications. My writing has appeared in Community College Daily (6 articles), the NACAC Journal of College Admission (9 articles, the magazine for college admission professionals), TopMBA, and on the New York Times Learning Network website. My deep-dive reporting and commentary on New York State's Excelsior Scholarship program was published by Gotham Gazette in a series of 4 op-eds that were later referenced during legislative policy hearings. Before moving to Switzerland for personal reasons, I was the founding Director of CUNY Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) at Medgar Evers College (Brooklyn, NY). CUNY ASAP is a nationally recognized comprehensive academic support program designed to help undergraduate students complete associate degrees in three years. Durng my tenure, the program engaged 700+ associate degree students with a staff of 11 full-time employees and an annual budget of $1.6 million. Under my directorship, MEC ASAP achieved a 26.9%+ two-year graduation rate for its first cohort, compared to an average MEC three-year graduation rate of 3.9%.
