I have 11 years of experience as a Traffic Analyst/Engineer working for both private and public-sector. Over my career, I have assisted in the preparation and completion of a wide assortment of transportation planning, transportation safety, and traffic engineering projects, including traffic impact and corridor studies.Responsibilities have included: data collection, technical analysis and report writing; compiling data from manual and automatic traffic counts; performing various types of studies such as speed, saturation flow, and travel time; participating in origin/destination surveys; and conducting field views. I have also projected future volumes for various traffic studies using complex trip generation and trip distribution techniques, and have analyzed the capacity of, and made recommendations for, the improvement of many signalized and unsignalized intersections, multi- and two-lane roadway segments, and ramp and weaving sections. In addition, I also have experience in the performance of such traffic engineering analyses as signal warrant analyses, left-turn analyses, and queuing analyses for various projects.Since joining NJDOT in 2012, my area of focus has mainly been with the State's Traffic Monitoring Program.
