Will assist the Director, Projects and Analytics with identifying and configuring the best systems and processes to gather, warehouse and analyze Logistics Data. Will have extensive Logistics Operation experience combined with the ability to analyze data and relate the results to reality. Will be a primary identifier and initiator of Logistics Projects. Actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment. •Collaborate with the Director of Projects and Analytics, external vendors and the lines of Business to identify and gather Logistics data•Work to identify and implement the best processes, systems and tools to warehouse, organize and analyze Logistics related data.•Mine, cleanse and organize Logistics data from various sources including SAP, EXE, WMS, TMS, BW, SLIDE.•Analyze Logistics data to evaluate and compare performance, identify trends and opportunities, identify risks through modeling and simulation.•Search for and evaluate new technologies, streamlined processes with an ROI, benefits, feasibility and sanity check perspective with a sense for operational reality.•Monitors project progress and anticipates necessity for developing contingency plans or taking corrective actions.•Understand and conceptualize cross-functional business processes, and effectively apply process analysis techniques and tools•Use both formal and informal channels to obtain information, build support and accomplish tasks
