• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and tax filings for this 501(c) non-profit organization that provides one on one mentoring to at-risk kids at 3 of Seattle’s most vulnerable high schools. • Cleaned up their accounting and designed new financial statements.• During my time, CfY hired an executive director, program manager, and program coordinator after years as a volunteer only organization. We increased revenue over 100%.• Board size quadrupled and we doubled the number of students served.• Appointed Chair, CfY Breakfast Fundraiser 2013 and served as the event’s MC.

-Transitioning Wallace to new accounting software. Migrating data, designing reports, working with Controller and accounting team to ensure a successful transition.

-Oversee multiple financial workflows for Microsoft Retail Account as part of the Corporate Solutions segment of JLL. Both IFM (Facilities Mgt.) and PDS (Project Development) supported.-Designed financials in Corrigo and JD Edwards E1 for client and internal usage.-Developed forecast in coordination with client and FM team.-Hire and train Finance department and coordinate workload and schedules.-Maintain compliance with Master Services Agreement, GAAP, and JLL oversight and corporate standards.-Work with sourcing and operations teams to add scope to processes and procedures as required.

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions for 5 divisions: Commercial Leasing and Sales, Madison Park, Property Management, JBL Properties, and Metro. Ewing & Clark has expertise in commercial and residential leasing, sales, and property management.• Prepare all financial statements, forecasts and budget reports for the 5 department heads and CEO, utilizing Jenark, Sage 300/Timberline, and Excel.• Enabled the property management department to grow from 50 to 150 private accounts and from 4 to 30 HOA associations during my time. We currently service over 1,400 tenants/owners.• In 2015, transitioned accounting software from Sage to Jenark after a thorough software search and extensive analysis. This entailed re-mapping the chart of accounts, devising new coding protocols, designing dozens of new reports and implementing new systems and job streams. Property management became paperless and efficiencies were improved over 25%.• Pursuant to the changes enacted by Sarbanes-Oxley, converted our associations’ books from cash basis to full GAAP accounting. This brought the associations’ financials into compliance with the new regulations, was soundly approved of by the associations’ auditors and was easily understood and satisfying to the associations’ boards.• Complete federal income tax form 1120 each year for Ewing and Clark, Inc. and form 1120-S for Luxury Real Estate Inc.• Perform monthly and year-end GL adjustments and accruals, resolving any discrepancies. • Responsible for the internal control of all monetary assets, developing banking relationships, and performing bank reconciliations on all bank accounts.• Conduct payroll and produce all necessary tax forms for 25 employees at E&C, 25 employees at Luxury Real Estate Inc., 50+ independent agents and 300+ vendors.• Responsible for 401(k) plan administration and coordination of TPA.• Hire, train and supervise a staff of three in the accounting department.
