Using my knowledge, creativity and experience of pneumatic conveying to design and quote bulk material handling solutions. Solutions range from single equipment systems to full-scale process management systems with turn-key installation, start-up and operator training. • Building relationships and solving problems.• Custom Machine selection and optimization for handling fragile, abrasive, moist, or hot materials.• Collaborate with customers to develop design requirements for custom machinery.• Develop proposals for custom machinery.• Working with vendors and fellow OEM manufacturers to ensure we're selecting the right instruments, large storage vessels and mechanical conveying equipment for the specific application.• Design and conduct conveying tests using in-house equipment.• Visit customer sites to ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently.• Troubleshoot installed customer systems and provide recommendations for improved operation.

Similar role to previous Project Manager/Engineer role below, but with some assistance on the overall planning and procurement side than prior. The increase in business at Cyclonaire drew the need to segment the previous Project Manager role into 2 positions. This results in more of a focus on the design and overall process Engineering side, which has allowed me to focus on more of the technical aspects of projects.

All the same responsibilities as previous Cyclonaire role, but with the added responsibility of managing and supporting a team of other Project Engineers to advise them on their project as well.

Pneumatic Conveying SolutionsManagement: Maintain control of multi-million-dollar projects through all phases from purchase order through installation, using available resources and paying close attention to project requirements, budget and delivery dates. Work with less experienced Project Managers to guide them with situations, designs and customers they are unfamiliar with to ensure the customer s needs and situations are met.Engineering: Investigate and develop solutions for systems to meet customer needs and budgets. Research: Assisted with federally funded update of crash testing standards for most used breakaway sign supports, luminaires, and work zone devices and assessed the probability of those systems meeting updated federal crash testing standards.Organization: Developed an extensive, detailed database of all breakaway sign supports, luminaires, and work zone traffic control devices recognized through FHWA eligibility letters.Analysis: Analyzed accelerometer data to determine peak occupant risk values and overall occupant severity during full-scale crash testing and developed post crash test drawings.Leadership: Trained Graduate Research Assistants in conducting post-crash test documentation.
