As a PMTCT Technical Lead for the CIHEB Kenya ENTRENCH Program I lead a team of health professionals in Migori county in delivery of PMTCT services in 8 Sub-counties and over 100 MNCH clinics in the public and private sector.This role entails understanding and disseminating the program goals to a team of program technical specialists to enable them maximize available resources to achieve zero transmission of HIV from mother to child. Providing technical assistance to the county of Migori in implementing PMTCT activities.Innovation and implementation of strategies to protect women of reproductive age and children below 9 years from acquiring HIV and ensuring that the HIV infected children and women receive HIV care ,treatment and monitoring in line with current county guidelines

• Technical support lead for HIV/TB , PMTCT, HTS activities in the sub county.• Clinical mentor 13 facilities providing comprehensive HIV services.• Leader of clinical team providing services in the sub county.• Facilitator in training involving health workers.• Leader of Sub county program team providing guidance in daily running of program activities in the sub county, and collaborating with Sub County Health Management team to realize program and Sub county goals.

Nurse Leader

• Oversee the strengthening of TB/HIV collaborative activities at ICAP the supported facility• Oversee the implementation of TB screening for PLWHA at ICAP supported facilities• Oversee the implementation of Provider Initiated Testing and Counseling of TB patients and outpatient clients at the ICAP supported facility.• To strengthen referral linkages between TB clinic and CCC at ICAP supported facilities through trained community health workers (C.H.W) and the affiliate community units (C.U).• Provide ongoing support supervision of TB/HIV activities in CCC.• Provide formal TB/HIV training and mentorship to health care providers at ICAP supported facility.• Writing and submitting quarterly technical reports to Director of Programs and project coordinator.

Assisting the DTLC (District Tuberculosis and Leprosy Coordinator) in distribution of anti TB (tuberculosis) drugs.•Recruiting of private health care service providers in to the NLTP program. •Collecting data from the field and entering in district registers/ verifying data entries in district registers.•Management of chest clinic in coordination with the DTLC.•Conducting school heath program TB awareness.•Education of the community on signs and symptoms of TB.•Following up of clients on TB treatment.•Assisting in compiling reports for TB cases in Kisumu District•Promotion of WHO recommended Treatment for Tuberculosis in the District.•Member of the District Health Management Team. (DHMT).•Supervision of tuberculosis clinic services daily.•Recruiting health workers into the NLTP DOTS system and establishing satellite treatment Centre.•Training of health workers and community representatives.
