Co-Founder and Human Swiss Army Knife

I serve as General Manager of our San Leandro Taproom and Retail Location, housed in the same complex as our Production Facility. Our Barrel House taproom facilitates To Go Services for Kegs, Cases, and Growler/Crowler fills. We operate a beer garden as well, which has had to adapt to State and County regulations due to the ongoing pandemic. We conduct daily health screenings, routine cleaning schedules, and restrict our services as necessary to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guest.

As an educator with Drake's Team, I am responsible to preparing training materials to promote greater product knowledge and proper serving, storage and pairing practices. I have worked in this capacity with our own Retail and Sales Staff, visiting on and off premise accounts, and our local and international distributor partners.As the tour guide I guide guests on a tour through the brewing facility of Drake's, providing a learning experience that describes the history of the brewery, the production process of making beer, the ingredients utilized, and future of the company amid the growing craft brewing industry.Additionally I have worked with the Barrel Aging Program at Drake's in preparation of spirit and wine barrels and bottling of rare sour and barrel aged offerings. I also assist our Retail and Events teams with the building, maintaining, and cleaning draft systems and jockey boxes.I am referred to as the Human Swiss Army Knife, as I find myself working in different departments and performing various jobs quite frequently.

Serving from a full bar and restaurant; Oggi's bartenders provide cocktails, wine and beers to our guests alongside a full menu of standard American Pub meals, specializing in pizza. We serve 30 different beers on tap, many of which are craft brands. House beers are provided by Left Coast Brewing of San Clemente. While unofficial, I serve as the resident beer geek, and happily discuss the different options of fermented beverages we have available.

Provide written articles dealing with beer culture, history, and analysis of community events. Articles are meant to reflect a given aspect of the craft brewing industry and provide understanding and appreciation to the community of craft beer drinkers at large.

Assisted History Department Faculty in classroom management, record keeping and assessment implementation.

Preserved historic documents and images from Orange County and CSUF history. Re-filed and re-boxed at risk documents for posterity and digitized items of historic importance.

Filled in temporary teaching positions and conducted class according to individual teacher preferences. Utilized own lectures and materials in classes of social science or historic nature.

Worked for various departments throughout employment. Including Gas Station, Membership Services, Receiving, Stocking and Cashiering. Left voluntarily to prioritize higher education.
