-Responsible for: establishing, implementing, and directing warehousing activities for dry pelletized fertilizer at company’s main production facility in accordance to schedules provided by sales and operations, overseeing and monitoring of current warehouse programs to ensure compliance with HACCP and Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). -Supervise the dry warehouse department in all aspects as it pertains to production needs: staffing and scheduling, operational planning and priorities, ordering of department supplies, adherence to safety, quality and food safety protocols, development and revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducting employee performance reviews, training and development of warehouse employees.-Under a team setting: participate in the development, training and execution of new production processes, equipment, and best practices within the dry warehouse department, meet with vendors, suppliers, contractors and customers as needed, assist in troubleshooting of quality and food safety related concerns based on customer/consumer complaints, assist quality and food safety department with internal audits and annual mock recall exercises for dry warehouse department; to capture gaps in current processes and opportunities for improvement.

-Oversee daily functions of a crew of 7 employees as permitted in a supervisory role: monitoring of employee activities on site, tracking attendance, planning and scheduling of production priorities, coordinating with foremen and site management for upcoming projects/tasks as assigned to crew. -Assist in: reviewing specification data for site project(s), production guidelines, and product samples to determine correct machinery set up while adhering to OSHA and CAL OSHA guidelines for employee safety. -Specified tasks performed on site include but are not limited to: Application of plaster to interior walls, ceilings and partitions as indicated on site blueprints, roughened undercoats to provide bonds for subsequent coats of plaster.
