Eric is the department manager for engineering at Saint-Gobain Performance plastics, Aerospace. His team is responsible for the design, substantiation, and certification for aerospace radomes for civil and military airframes. The team owns estimation engineering for development projects and product costing. The department is responsible for AS9100 design.

Eric is the team leader/program manager of the turbine center frame of the Leap-1B cost out team. His primary focus is to deliver cost and weight efficient designs for the Leap-1B program. He leads a team of over 12 individuals divided between the US and globally. His team is responsible for conceptualizing, analyzing, and executing on "big swing" cost reduction ideas that alter the architecture of the module optimizing for production cost. Projects achieved over $40k per engine savings. The module also contained the oil service lines of which I led the redesign for cost

Eric is the team leader/program manager of the turbine center frame during certification of the Passport 20 engine. He leads a team of 4 US engineers and 7 Global Engineers divided between Poland, India, and Mexico who design and support the components of the turbine center frame. Eric also oversees and reviews the drafting detail work of 4 individuals.His responsibilities include work delegation and prioritization, technical expertise and guidance, as well as high level cross section and conceptual design layouts. This work includes certification reports for the FAA part 33, redesign of components for durability, cost, and weight.The turbine center frame is the structural load path of the engine supporting the high and low speed bearings and transferring the load to the engine carcass.

Eric was the Lead design engineer for the Leap-1B turbine center frame flowpath system during the NPI design cycle. Designed and analyzed turbine engine flowpath system hardware which accounted for over 30 components. In the course of a year, he took a design that was at concept through preliminary and detailed design reviews, brought the hardware into production and through the first engine to test on the Leap-1b engine program. This work included a patent submission that is currently under review for wear tolerant sliding structural joints. During this time he completed the MRB certification for turbine airfoils and structures hardware. This role involved supervising a team of 4 analysts and 2 modelers, and 3 drawing detailers.

Design engineer for the Low Pressure Turbine of the GE90/GP7000 product lines. Work included field support, MRB of new make hardware, and redesign of components for cost and durability. Completed multiple design reviews and had ownership of key structural hardware in the GE90/GP7000 product line. During this time I was the product cost out focal for the low pressure turbine section, leading the team through over 10 million in annual savings projects
