I knew I loved finance when I was a teenager and I went to the grocery store before school to buy the Wall Street Journal so I could look up stock prices for my hypothetical portfolio. Fast forward several years and I got my first job in Treasury managing internal financing, asking myself, “What's an intercompany loan!?”So began my journey in Treasury and finance. I’ve been able to lead projects from refinancing $1B+ in convertible and high yield debt, launching share repurchase programs, and executing interest rate derivatives to managing and de-risking pension plans. More recently, I’ve been leading the global accounts receivable group in cash forecasting, collections management, pricing, and customer credit. This is a diverse team, with 6 direct reports and a total of 45 team members in many countries throughout the globe. My experiences living in both Spain and Mexico for three years, coupled with being fluent in Spanish, have helped me manage this global group.I’m able to apply the technical skills acquired in Treasury and people management skills I’ve learned in the Global AR group to creating strategies that drive value for the company, finding creative solutions to difficult problems, and managing large and small global teams to work toward stretch goals.
