I am interested in the innovation of the Formwork and Shoring industry. If we could set the use of Building Information Modeling as a standard it would allow for more accurate formwork and shoring design that can be modeled in 4D. The concrete contractor would be able to view any portion of the job they are constructing from different angles on site to eliminate the guess work that is involved with conventional 2D drawings. This would save time and money during the construction process of any concrete structure. Utilizing the technology available to date would be beneficial to all parties involved in concrete construction.
