Professional with 20 years of experience in Rolling Mill Companies, whose career started at Gerdau’s Rolls Mill Shop, later working in the Product Development Department although working at the same time with Process Improvement, Quality, Factory Expansion Projects/Layouts, and Product Migration Project as the company´s Technical Consultant. Worked as Industrial Project Coordinator in another Rolling Mill and Auto Parts (Auto Door Hinge) Company, developing new Rolling Mill products as Pass Designer and all previously described activities. Products for Automotive Industry, Construction, Charge Transport, Rail, Agriculture, Energy, and also Machines and Utilities are examples of the huge variety of products, which I have helped to develop and constantly improve. ❏ Product Development Projects: Technical feasibility analysis, considering production process restrictions; Financial Feasibility, considering tooling development costs and possible losses inherent in the production process); Project follow-up meetings with clients, support for technical assistance area, identifying in the client any problems inherent of the production process or product project failure (pass design); product and tooling technical drawing in AutoCAD Mechanical and Inventor; Continuous Process Improvement Projects Coordination in areas such as Quality (Reduction of unspecified dimensional scrap) and Energy (Natural Gas consumption reduction); Technical support in customers, identifying problems due to project failure and deviations from customer processes, resulting in tooling project modifications or even in the production process; Technical support for product manufacturing process migration from one plant to another plant. ❏ Responsible for the Project Management of an Industrial Plant Transfer: Localization study (external and internal logistics, process design plan, equipment/machines layout, technical feasibility analysis, and support for economic viability analysis (taking into account the technical aspects, such as Industrial Plant Construction Costs and Project Design Changes regarding production process); Project planning (schedule, new equipment acquisition and services budget, project cost estimate, feasibility analysis, risk analysis, and opportunities); Execution of the project (equipment and services suppliers development, e.g. New Pusher Furnace quotation and acquisition, outsourcing contracts management, basic engineering team management including mechanical/ electrical/ civil and piping, and also project drawing analysis and validation.
