I provide hardware and software support for Faculty, Staff, and Students. I am responsible for up to 24 student employees, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and supervision. In my daily work I route, and resolve tickets in Cherwell, respond to alerts from Cisco AMP, use Splunk, Bitlocker, Banner Admin, and other software to support Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. I update directory permissions with Active Directory, collaborate within GVSU IT, write documentation, and create/maintain GVSU webpages using CMS.

I was responsible for, and completed a company-wide whole drive encryption initiative. I did everything from planning, contacting users, and scheduling, to implementation, and training. I imaged new PC’s, wrote documentation, and provided troubleshooting assistance. I took part in training new team members. I was primate, and radiation certified for access to restricted areas i.e. cyclotrons, and other radioactive materials. I managed cart computers in critical time-sensitive situations for multi-million dollar studies. I regularly used Cylance, Symantec End Point Encryption, Altiris, Track-It, Sales Force, and Active Directory. I was responsible for distributing RSA soft tokens, Cisco AnyConnect VPN permissions, and inventory management.

I coordinated installs and repairs with vendors, Managed access points, appliances, and switches using Cisco Meraki, was responsible for ordering equipment for retail stores, imaging computers, maintaining Symantec End Point Protection, configuring Motorola MC series handheld scanners, configuring Verifone MX915 pinpads, active directory, maintaining iOS devices using JAMF, I used share point, Created, and monitored tickets in Trax, I provided operational instruction for SAP point of sale software, and general troubleshooting for 350 stores, over 600 computers. I collaborated with team members, and provided excellent customer service.
