During my studies as an undergraduate, my interests focused on data science, machine learning and stochastic simulations. During this time, I led a computational biology project where the aim was to optimize a drug treatment policy using reinforcement learning, more specifically using the AlphaZero algorithm from DeepMind. As a masters student, I pursued a MITACS internship in collaboration with Consilium Crypto. and FIN-ML, where I assisted in the design and production of a machine learning pipeline used to train and optimize price forecasting models. The project used the Ray framework to deploy and scale the project to AWS servers. I also learned to use other useful production tools such as Docker and Git.
