As a Senior Product Manager, I was across a large portion of the product, working with two engineering teams. I developed and executed the product strategy for the content library & studio, home to over 3 million lessons created by teachers, content partners, and internal staff. I also lead the DevOps and architecture team to set up our infrastructure to be region agnostic, successfully deploying to our second region.

I took on the Head of Delivery role during a transitional period of growth for the product and engineering team at Education Perfect. As Lead Developer, I took charge of a rebuilding a some large areas of our product from a legacy product built in Flash to a more modern Angular/Typescript solution. I lead half the development at Education Perfect, alternating between leading these larger projects and overseeing our product improvement, which is a mix of bug fixes, small improvements, and mini projects to improve and expand on our offering.

Education Perfect is an online learning platform used globally by hundreds of thousands of students with peak usage nearing ten thousand concurrent users. Our system allows teachers to set their student to work on content that is tailored for their teaching. My project was to rebuild the ad management system for all of Allied Press' publications which includes the Otago Daily Times and The Star (Otago's two largest newspapers). I was part of a small team who were tasked to make a toolbar for the staff which connected them to the ad database and allowed them to easily manage the ad placements on each issue.

Predominantly working on an existing web application which had been developed using PHP several years earlier. My task was to fix all existing issues, update the front end design and implemented new and incomplete features.
