Duties: As the Operations Manager of PeopleNet, the Powerleague HRIS project team responsible for implementing the new HR database and T&A system, I am in charge of overseeing the restructuring of the business, in order to bring it in line with other similar sized organisations, and hence aid the company’s planned growth. Based in the UK Monday to Friday, some of my main responsibilities and achievements in this role so far, have been as follows:• Ensuring the faultless instigation of the new HR database system, iTrent, through delivering training to employees on how to use the, “Manager Self-Service”, “Employee Self-Service”, and “Rostering” modules contained within it. This investment, the largest the company has ever made in its workforce, will deliver a 6% saving on a £7m payroll budget in 2016, and therefore its smooth execution is a vitally important aspect in the success of the company’s progression.• Responsible for leading all communications within the team, ensuring that all departments, including the senior management team, remain fully briefed on the project’s development.• Responsible for the installation of 50 biometric cells across all centres, along with the training of managers on the set up and functionality of the clocks contained within them. • Worked alongside the Payroll Transitions Manager in order to switch to a fully managed, external payroll, for over 900 company employees.

Duties: Before being seconded to my current role, I was responsible for the complete start-up and management of the company’s newest venture, in the Netherlands. Whilst there, I was entrusted with numerous diverse responsibilities, including the following:• Entirely responsible for the recruitment of a local management team, before leading their training and development in company’s managerial styles, strategies, and processes. • Developing a business action plan, in order to meet the budget expectations of the centre.• Managing all aspects of the centre, which offered numerous services such as: 5-a-side leagues, social play and tournaments; Children’s Activities, including birthday parties, leagues and training facilities; and Corporate Partnerships, including company leagues, tournaments, and an employee discount scheme.• Project managed a corporate employee tournament for Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer, Nissan, the current sponsors of the UEFA Champions League.

Duties: In relocating to my native Ireland, I was charged with opening and managing the company’s first centre outside of the UK, in Dublin. Here, my main accomplishments and responsibilities included: • Recruited, trained, and developed a successful opening team.• Achieved accolades such as, ‘Manager of the Year’ and, ‘R/up Manager of the Year’.• Delivered a sales record that grew by 25% year-on-year, proving the Dublin location to be a successful addition to the Powerleague portfolio. • Attracted over 100 league teams, a figure which was double that of the nearest competitor.• Secured lucrative sponsorship with Domino’s for our children’s parties, saving over €20k.• Increased the number of children’s parties to holding over 600 per year, achieving a revenue of €96k per annum, the 3rd highest record in the company. • Built strong community relations with local organisations, including: Shamrock Rovers; Windsor Motors; and Ronald McDonald House (McDonald’s Charity Partner).
