Responsible for the daily care of approximately 2,700 students including 11 diabetics, 21 with life-threatening allergies, 16 with seizure disorders, 22 with asthma, and 1 with a feeding tube. Care for accidents and illnesses in cooperation with parents or guardians to provide for the students' well being. Support the health of all students. Develop and promote good community relations among various community and school clientele. Oversee the care of and provide direct care for special needs students.

Commander of a 6-gun 155mm Howitzer Battery. Responsible for the training, welfare, and professional development of 106 soldiers. Responsible for the combat readiness of 14 tracked and 9 wheeled vehicles and associated equipment values in excess of 7 million dollars.

Assist the Division Artillery Operations Officer in all aspects of planning and operations. Specifically responsible for the planning, organization, and conduct of all US Artillery fires on the peninsula of South Korea. Responsible for developing, de-conflicting, writing, and publishing all US Artillery War Plans.

Assist the Division Artillery Logistics Officer in all aspects of logistics and supply. Specifically responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the 3.5 million dollar budget. Manage the operation of the unit's 2,000-soldier dining facility, and administer the brigade's energy conservation, unit movement, contracting, acquisitions, and recycling programs.

Responsible for leading, training, developing, and maintaining a 5-man fire support team using the M981 tracked Fire Support Vehicle with a high density of communication equipment and a laser range finder. Specifically responsible for advising, planning, coordinating, and executing artillery fires for the supported tank company commander.

Second in command of an 8-gun 155mm Howitzer Battery. Responsible for the training, welfare, and professional development of 106 soldiers. Responsible for the readiness of 19 tracked and 11 wheeled vehicles and associated equipment valued in excess of 10 million dollars.

Responsible for leading and training 8 soldiers, both US and Korean, in the computing and dissemination of safe and accurate firing data for a 155mm Howitzer Platoon. Responsible for maintaining voice and digital communications with fire support elements and providing them with accurate and timely artillery fires.
