DE Lean Focal/Lean Projects: Certified LEAN Practitioner LEADR Project: -Provide instrumental SQL database architecture input to overseas programmers. -Take lessons learned from our Access database and merge them with .NET framework technology to create a faster more accessible web based version -Helped build and implement an Access database for 777 aft body which won 1st place in the 2008 Leanfest out of 90,000 employees eligible to compete and helped propel our teams output by over 50%. Since then I have helped setup this database for several other teams. -Split responsibility of hosting a monthly meeting and preparing an agenda which allows the group to identify issues that hinder work performance and flow. -Completed a Gap analysis various work package tracking systems and our current system to identify what needed to be changed to make it most effective. This was accomplished, with input from a diverse inter-organizational group, by creating a blue print for the future state of our process including a value stream map to identify our critical path. -Created standard work guides for various topics.-Created a new DE Lean website coded in XHTML featuring JAVA CSS menus for quick access to standard work. -747-8 Data-set Quality Assurance and High Performance Drafting Team. Work with V5 and Enovia to check drawings and data-sets on the DQA team and sign for DQA when check is complete and satisfactory.-Module Owner, responsible for verifying PDM and 3D models are correct before procurement.
