30 years in a great company also meant that I experienced a wide variety of roles as well as overseas working. While my professional expertise remains in the planning and strategy arena having played a number of corporate roles in Singapore, Hong Kong and Germany, I have also taken up marketing roles especially in the area of customer communication in a regional capacity in the Asia Pacific and was assigned had the role of helming the finance and IT operation of a subsidiary in Australia.This multi-faceted experience is what I am using now in my current IT role of managing the global function interfacing between the global IT team and the global/regional business management representing Sony's sales & marketing entities around the world.
