After completing a successful search fund exit, TXE Capital resumed its acquisition focus with an expanded mandate to buy and operate industrial small-cap businesses in the laboratory, testing, and inspection sectors. I oversaw the integration of LK Industries into the new parent company, taking responsibility to train the new division president and manage financial and productivity targets. In my work, I worked closely with the CEO to create and execute the operational growth plan, and I led reorganization initiatives, including entity rebranding, realignment of sales strategy, and restructuring of personnel. As a division of WEST, I led the operations of the company's only software division. My role included management of software products (existing and new development), execution of sales initiatives, and alignment of operations to the overall strategy at WEST. In this role, I directed a team of 30 in daily operations, incorporating continuous improvement and lean methods to ensure efficiency and productivity targets. I reported directly to investors and the Board of Directors on strategic objectives, operations, and financial performance. In my work, I oversaw new product development, including IoT integrations into core product lines. I also built and managed key multi-national customer relationships, and I negotiated and directed key-supplier contracts and procurement needs. In my leadership at TXE Capital, I raised funds for the acquisition of a privately held business in the petrochemical industry.
