In my two years with Hewlett-Packard I worked as a software engineer in the Manageability Solutions Lab on the Ignite-UX and Service Control Manager projects. As of the time I worked on these projects: Ignite-UX was essentially a golden-image and bootstrapping product for HP-UX implemented primarily with the C programming language, scripts, and a proprietary HP GUI technology. Service Control Manager is an enterprise management solution for role-based administration based on C++ and Java.

CAD Research Center projects focused on large distributed decision support systems. I was personally responsible for the design and implementation of several subsystems in the IMMACCS command and control system. Specialized in integrating Java GUI technologies. Provided team support as Java language specialist. Other projects included reorganization of team development environment.• Wrote simple parser hierarchy to translate between various military inventory formats and instantiate CORBA objects representing the data, increasing efficiency of data entry exponentially.• Created reusable AWT and Swing Java GUI components for the IMMACCS command and control interface.• Lead lab wide effort to reorganize CVS source repository into team and cross-team package structures leading to more reusable code.
