Profile bio

About Eric Ravanello

My work experience has evolved over the years as I push myself to learn new trades and add value in roles within and beyond my primary job responsibilities. Beginning with a Technical Writing education, I moved from a low-voltage field technician role to a project management and quality control position at Atlanta Home Theater. After moving to Polytron, I delved more fully into Technical Writing and Training initially, which then evolved into an ACAD design role. While serving in a hybrid capacity that bridged internal knowledge gaps between Design and Engineering teams, I helped ensure quality and consistency is a primary focus throughout multiple phases of our business.I then took a roll as a Lead Electrical Designer and heavy EPlan user for The Dennis Group, LLC where I assisted in growing our reputation and service offerings in the form of drawing development, management, and process innovation that adds value for our end users.Following that, I spent time as a Senior Electrical Designer with Factory Automation Systems where my time was spent utilizing EPlan to design robotic control systems and efficiently generating the respective drawings for fabrication and installation.I am now a Senior Electrical Designer for WEG Electric Corp. where my main focus is new standard product engineering and development. Day to day, I also support custom project design and the fabrication of panels.Outside of work, I am a baseball junky and I spend the bulk of my time with my family and serving our god through church and other community service opportunities.
