The PRELOAD heritage of leadership continues today through the expertise and creativity of our people, who have more than 1,000 years of collective experience in the design and construction of liquid storage. Among our many innovations in prestressed concrete tank technology is the process of external wire-winding (which remains the best technique for circumferential prestressing) and development of the 'restrained' sliding-base connection (tank wall to floor). Moreover, all of our tanks are designed to meet the rigorous requirements of ACI 376, API 620, API 625 and AWWA D-110.Within the PRELOAD International group of companies, Cashman Preload Cryogenics (CPC) is focused on advancing the use of prestressed concrete for the full-containment storage of liquefied natural gas (LNG), natural gas liquids (ie, LPG, LEG, LIN/LOX, Ammonia, etc.) and hydrogen around the World. Among its numerous applications are two (2) 100,000 cu.m. liquified natural gas (LNG) tanks for Philadelphia Gas Works, constructed in 1974 (still in service today), and three (3) tanks for Enagas in Barcelona, Spain. In the last six (6) years, Cashman Preload Cryogenics (CPC) has designed & constructed four (4) full-containment LNG storage tanks and is currently building another one in central PA. CPC has received FERC authorization on its design of two (2) 240,000 cu.m LNG storage tanks as part of the Alaska LNG project in Nikiski, AK and FERC authorization on its design for one (1) 46,000 cu.m tank in Jacksonville, FL.PRELOAD Middle East has designed and constructed numerous water/wastewater and thermal energy storage tanks in the Middle East over the last 40 years including three (3) recent tanks in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Preload Middle East maintains an active presence in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
