Hi, my name is Eric Regaspi and I am currently a 5th grade teacher at William R Buckley for the Burton School District. My love for teaching really started to develop at CSU Northridge where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. It is there where I realized that teaching was what I was destined to do and kid's lives are the ones I wanted to impact. I have spent the past two years as a 5th grade teacher developing the skills I need to be a great educator. It is there where I have become a great communicator, team player, and patient observer. I love my career and I hope to be an educator for many years to come. I am someone who wants to help my students realize the potential they possess inside and outside of the classroom. My main goal is to always reach their hearts before their minds because I believe that a student will work harder and try harder for someone that genuinely cares about them and shows it. At the end of the day, if I am able to help my students become great scholars then that is amazing but my biggest goal is to have them be amazing young human beings!
