I came on board at Spooky Nook Sports as the sports management intern and quickly realized this was what I loved doing. For 6 months I continued working at clarcor and going to Spooky Nook afterwards to do my internship from Jan - May 2013. At this time I was offered the Director of Adult Recreation position which at the time was exactly what I wanted to do. I quickly became very skilled with our computer system, max enterprises, and moved into a new role within the facility that was later titled, Surface Revenue Manager. In this job I have the responsibility in bringing in rentals and communicating with them closely to find a time a rate to have them in our facility. I oversee the scheduling and programming of all registrations and events as well. There is close communication with my job title and all the sport specific directors as well to make sure things are communicated and presented properly to our customers and members.
