Eric Reimer is a partner in Milbank’s Global Corporate Group. He represents private equity firms, hedge funds, borrowers, issuers and lenders in credit facilities, front-end lending transactions, mezzanine facilities, bridge facilities, acquisition facilities, debt issuances and restructurings, including the financing of debtors in bankruptcy, ranging from investment grade syndicated financings to middle market asset based facilities to private placements. Eric has focused experience in energy, health care, education, technology, retail, equipment and transportation sectors. Eric also represents opportunity and investment funds in the distressed M&A transactions and in the acquisition and restructuring of debt and credit facilities, as well as the ongoing general representation of portfolio companies of such funds. Eric has received professional recognition in Chambers USA, Banking & Finance – California, The Legal 500, and Best Lawyers in America, Global Markets / Capital Markets and Southern California Super Lawyers. He has authored numerous works on acquisition finance and restructuring law for leading financial journals, and has been a guest speaker at major institutional investor conferences.
