I started my career at Pentaflex at the bottom of the ladder in 1993, i have now decided to reflect and take some well deserved time off, been at Pentaflex for almost 30 years, here is a résumé of my years at Pentaflex: I started as a helper on the laminator, and a slitter, and i passed the broom. I eventually became operator of a slitter, operator of pouch machine, operator of laminator and moved up the ladder very fast, and had various responsibilities. As a production and plant manager my responsibilities are : 1. Planning , organizing, directing and running optimum day to day operations in order to meet business objectives.2. Increasing production.3. Minimizing costs.4. Maintaining and improving current quality standards. 5. Delegating and assigning workers.6. Addressing employees issues.7. Managing plant safety procedures.8. Coordinating the IFS/PacSecure, H.A.C.C.P system.My skills are the following:1. Excellent knowledge of flexible packaging materials destined for the food industry.2. Excellent knowledge of lamination, slitting, pouches, and inno-lok.3. Excellent interpersonal skills.4. Excellent leadership skills.5. Excellent decision skills.6. Very good problem solving skills.7. Very time management skills. 8. Very good ability to work under pressure. 9. Good at conflict resolution, and negotiating. 10. Good knowledge of mounting and flexo printing.
