- Wrote firmware in C++ and debugged hardware/software issues for an ATmega328P MCU based GPIB to USB data type converter PCB. Brought the device to a fully functioning state with all lab instrument types that can now be used in test engineering automation. Device performs all actions of a GPIB controller but can be manufactured for ~10€, resulting in sizable savings when new instrument-to-PC controllers are required.- Developed, built, operated and documented post-silicon verification test setups in accordance with ISO26262 standards for an Analog & Mixed Signal subsystem. Measurements of RMS Jitter and frequency trimming on chip clock signals. Automation of register writing for routing various signals through cascading multiplexers.- Used C#, MATLAB, SCPI and Excel to automate and operate instruments, gather test results and analyze them.- Used various high-precision lab instruments for building test setups: oscilloscopes, temperature forcing systems, source measurement units, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters, and waveform generators.- Soldering work on test boards.
