Product Manager for The Lee Company Chek®Group-Lead and manage multiple distinct product platforms, directly managing application engineers to strategically leverage an opportunity pipeline within the aerospace, oil and gas, energy, and space sectors.-Direct and drive new product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer needs through comprehensive voice of customer analysis and effective project management.-Formulate and implement pricing strategies, resolve complex production and quality challenges, and oversee the complete product life cycle from concept to market introduction.-Engage in global travel to support high-impact opportunities and represent the company at key industry events and conferences.

• Manage all applications for Pressure Relief Valve Group•Critical connection between the engineering and business sides of the company.•Regularly collaborating with design and manufacturing engineering, production planning, quality control, sales and marketing.•Build positive relationships by attending all Engineering and Production meetings to help drive customer-oriented results• Use data analytics to help determine future valve performances for different markets• Communicate with customers on complex technical issues• Develop pricing for new and existing applications to remain competitive and profitable•Continually improve the market position of Lee relief valve products by performing testing on parts and writing capability reports with statistical analysis•Support sales teams internationally

• Technical expert for a $700M product line of switchboards and panelboards.• Provide direction to internal and external customers entering orders to assure jobs are designed correctly and meet NEC and UL Codes.• Review customers order entries to assure a product manufacturability and recommend superior designs and products to meet the end user’s need.• Negotiate pricing for new, existing, and expedited orders.• Quote lead times for each job depending on complexity and volume.• Serve as main point of contact within the plant for sales and customers. Lead plant tours, Q&A, market pulse, etc.

• Implemented lean principles and improved process flows through use of Kaizen, 5S, 5 why, and Poka-yoke• Updated process specifications and work instructions to improve the ease of work and understanding• Increased cost accuracy through time studies and process improvements with 5S• Improved CPK by participating in SPC meetings and being a constant presence in the shop

-Decreased the number of rejected parts by tracking turn-backs and implementing 5S in the work cells-Increased employee engagement with continuous improvement through use presentations and constant presence in the Genba

-Improved Takt time and workflow in CNC production cells by effectively implementing Kaizen, 5S, 5Why-Built vacuum tables to reduce the amount of debris present when grinding parts-Coached machinists on the importance of continuous improvement principles
