Responsible for the completion of roadway design projects ranging from local roads, divided four lane arterials, intersection (including roundabouts) improvements, bridge replacements, and rural freeway interchanges for Georgia DOT and local governments. I typically serve as the consultant contact for all technical-related issues as well as the design engineer of record on each project. Lastly, I perform off-team quality control reviews on the design deliverables of the other roadway design teams in the office.I also supervise engineers and designers in my design team where I am responsible for the design content, schedule/delivery, and budget of each project. Additional managerial tasks include client marketing/business development, sub-consultant coordination on each, proposal writing, project scoping and fee estimation, and mentoring.

Roswell, Georgia

Assisted and was later responsible for the design of roadway design plans as well as quantity takeoffs/construction estimates; and the writing of specifications. I was also responsible for the civil/site plan of an Air Force facility that was designed to US Army Corps of Engineers specifications.

Duluth, Georgia

Assisted in the design of roadway and drainage plans to AASHTO and GDOT guidelines. These consisted of but were not limited to generating roadway alignments, profiles, and cross sections; culvert and storm drain designs; compiling signing and marking plans; as well as maintenance of traffic and erosion control plans. I also helped with the design of several concrete and steel structures for retaining walls, water treatment plants and industrial facilities. Lastly, I drafted the construction documents and specifications for several local government transportation projects and then served as an inspector during their subsequent construction.

Columbus, Georgia

I was responsible for inspecting roadway and bridge related construction projects for their compliance with Georgia DOT specifications. I also performed ASTM material tests and calculated/verified pay item quantities for contractor payment.
