Graduated from University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelors of Science in both Computer Science and Philosophy. Was hired for an internship with Aurora Health Care between Junior and Senior year of College. Upon graduation took a full time position at Aurora Health Care as a Java Web Application Developer. Took an opportunity to become a data warehouse programmer analyst role in Aurora's data warehouse department where I helped support reporting during a large EHR migration, with focus areas of patient Master Data Management, Care Management, Medicare Shared Savings Reporting, and Advanced Analytics use cases. Followed a talented Aurora Health Care leader into health care consulting where I had the opportunity to lead and build an analytics department for a large behavioral health claims processor. Successfully partnered with a large academic institution to assist in healthcare data science projects. Sought out an established data science department in Northwestern Mutual to be able to share, learn and grow my data modeling, data science, and business oriented problem solving skills.
