I supervise a 3-person Support Team that is responsible for the HR and general administration functions of a 300-employee region in Eastern and Central PA.

 Provide full HR services for 80 employees in 3 states, including; recruiting, orientation, benefit enrollment, performance management/training, freelancer coordination, event organization, payroll processing (ADP-PC/Payroll and ReportSmith), and benefit invoice reconciliation.  Revised Salary Administration program and updated annually to maintain compensation philosophy.  Created new performance management process resulting in more thorough reviews, in a timely manner.  Created freelancer pool to lessen reliance on temp agencies, resulting in $8k savings first year.  Revised employee handbook to include current FMLA language, HIPAA Compliance language, and other necessary components.  Created Background Check and Social Networking Policies. Managed entire conversion process to new 401k administrator, resulting in $10k of savings/year. Other duties include office manager and physical plant responsibilities.

 Managed entire HR function for approximately 300 employees in several states, including benefits enrollment, PeopleSoft data entry, and new hire on-boarding. Consulted Managers, Directors and Vice Presidents on HR-related issues, including salary, discipline/discharge and employee morale.  Assisted VP of HR with new business acquisition duties.

 Performed all Generalist functions. Served as sole recruiter for organization. Managed 3-member HR Team in absence of HR Director while she was on maternity leave.  Conducted open enrollment for 300 employees (presentations, etc). Conducted compliance training and new hire orientation for all employees.

 Counseled management, employees, and HR Assistants on company policy and procedure, employment law, collective bargaining agreements, and benefits. Investigated harassment allegations as well as other incidents involving employees. Assisted HR Director in Collective Bargaining negotiations. Conducted grievance investigations and hearings.  Assisted in responding to EEOC, PHRC, and PCHR Complaints.  Performed HRIS data entry (HRizon); Responsible for team of one recruiter and two HR Assistants in processing all new hires, health/welfare benefit administration.  Conducted/organized new employee orientation.  Contributing member of several committees, including: Workers' Compensation, Employee Compensation and Employee Turnover committees. Co-Created and conducted trainings on Workers' Compensation, Sexual Harassment, and Manager/HR Training, resulting in lowering of insurance deductible by $100k.
