I came into this role two months before the enterprise began our Epic build. During my time I was the lead RI decision maker for HB charge capture, HB/PB CDM build and pricing, and charge reconciliation. UK had a successful go-live on June 5th and we were above 100% above HB charge baselines within 2 days. Five months in, 195 hospital cost centers I track are stable and sitting at 110% above baselines. Another success was consolidating our legacy CDM from 88K line items down to under 12K.

Revenue Management

In this role I was primarily responsible for the enterprise charge reconciliation of our 190+ hospital cost centers. In addition, I worked with IT to pursue process improvements for charge capture within any of our numerous ancillary charging systems. I developed a weekly ambulatory charge capture reporting tool that gave our clinical managers a view into missing revenue opportunities within their clinics.

Revenue Management

Responsible for staying abreast on all CMS hospital billing regs and updating our fee schedules on quarterly/annual basis. I communicated HCPCS/CPT updates to our clinical partners to pursue new revenue opportunities.
