We advance our environmental justice mission through five broad program areas – environmental advocacy; energy & climate change; sustainable food & land use; water preservation; and youth empowerment

Environmental Advocate• Led committee that successfully made Columbus, IN the first Bee City USA affiliate in Indiana in 2021• From 2017-2019, led a local committee that received FEMA approval to develop the 5 acre Pleasant Grove Pollinator Park and Flood Memorial (development of park is ongoing)• Wrote "Watershed: Service in the Wake of Disaster," a 400 page book about 2008 Columbus flood• Secretary of committee that managed $1.6 million flood emergency fund from Lilly EndowmentMental Health Wellness• "Revealing Voices" Podcast - Began in March 2018. Interview style format discussing intersection of faith and mental health. Rooted in answering the question, "What does healing mean to you?"• Former Leader of weekly mental health wellness group called Faithful Friends that began in November 2014• Former Grant Writer and VP for NAMI of South Central Indiana (2016-2018)Youth Substance Use Prevention• Wrote and administered $800,000 in youth substance use prevention grants in partnership with Communities That Care Coalition, Foundation For Youth, Eastside Community Center, Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction, and Indiana Prevention Resource Center• Generated over 1,000 commitments from youth to live drug free lives through my leadership at community events, teaching evidence-based education, and administration of county Strategic Prevention Framework• Met goal of reducing 8th grade use of alcohol, cigarettes, and marijuana in Bartholomew County by 5% in 4 year time span• Managed Party SAFE social media platform that reached over 1,000 youth• Funded and was primary content layout developer for www.foundationforyouth.com• Organized public art events to create 6 youth-inspired murals, including a nationally recognized celebration of National Above The Influence Day. • Designed discount card for teenagers who pledged to be substance free. Card provided discounts at 15 local businesses

- Developed online marketing imagery, copy, and packaging graphics for over 300 SKUs from 2016-2019- Led Outdoor team to record breaking sales in May and June 2020 (+$2 million / month). • Manage OnBoarding communication, travel arrangements, and troubleshooting of technology systems issues for 700 interns and 1200 new hires in 40 unique OnBoarding sessions• Facilitate communication as a primary liaison among hiring managers, HR staff, recruiters, vendors, interns, and new hires to ensure a successful transition into all North American facilities• Create and edit content for global website that manages all new hire OnBoarding activities • Developed process mapping, operations standards, and exceptions tracking to prepare for audit

• Worked flexible, on-call schedule in 4 different roles on 10 different nursing units• Collaborated on process improvement project to save over $1 million in hospital supply charges• Taught annual tobacco prevention classes to 400 students at local elementary schools• Advocated for a Smoke Free Workplace ordinance that was passed by Columbus City Council• Supported 25 families by acquiring FEMA funds, coordinating volunteers, and remodeling homes as case manager for Bartholomew County Long Term Recovery Team

• Hired, trained, and conducted annual reviews for 7 customer service representatives and 2 loan officers at bank branch with third highest transaction totals in the company• Exceeded deposit account goals by 15% in 2006• Loan officer responsible for auto and home loans with $15,000 underwriting authority and exceeded loan goal by 30% in 2006
