I worked as instructor/educator with the Youth Documentary Academy, which is summer workshop in Colorado Springs for training students from underserved communities in the art of documentary film. By the end of the intensive, 8-week training program, each student will create a documentary of their own design. These films have been shown at film festivals, on TV, and and have been received numerous awards including a Regional Emmy.

- Downloading & organizing raw footage- Making selects from raw footage and building assemblies- Editing scenes and fine cutting short documentaries- Maintaining the organization of files on hard drives- Packing/unpacking of equipment for film shoots- Creating spreadsheets, making phone calls, and performing other office tasks

Locations PA for the film "MILES AHEAD"- Prepared and updated schedules- Created maps, charts, driving directions, and other tools using Word & Excel- Placed orders for equipment and arranged appointments- Organized and maintained documents including location contracts, invoices, and purchase orders- Arrived on set early to meet with location contacts, hang signage, and prepare for arrival of crew- Collaborated with the Cincinnati Police Department to arrange/schedule street closure for filming- Maintained a clean set and ensured that locations were left looking better than they were found
