Perform engineering duties to design unique machinery, drive systems, and other equipment Design, model, and assemble components in 3D using Autodesk Inventor Communicate with customers to determine needs, evaluate problems, and propose solutions Specify purchased equipment such as gearboxes, bearings, belts and pulleys Work with vendors to coordinate product specifications and delivery Coordinate with machinists and assembly personnel for optimum work flow and resource utilization Work with management in the development of new engineering processes, documentation, and products
