Started working in Public Practice at the age of 13 when my father invited me into help with tax season and some bookkeeping work. I tried very hard not to be an accountant as my father very much wanted me to follow in his foot steps and I wanted to "blaze my own trail".After graduating from the Asper School of Business with a degree in Small Business Management and Finance, I asked myself "why not accounting?" and started the CGA designation. I then started full-time in Public Practice in 2005 with my father, where I joined him as partner in 2013 and helped form Robert Accounting LLP. I helped form Rawluk & Robert Chartered Professional Accountants in 2017, where we have grown to a 15 person firm in 5 years and assisting many individuals, companies, charities and not for profit organizations.
